El Instituto Guatemalteco de Turismo INGUAT en cumplimiento de brindar información a los visitantes, ha desarrollado esta plataforma dinámica de navegación de mapas para consulta, orientación e información previa y durante su estancia en nuestro país.

INGUAT aclara que este Geoportal es una herramienta básica que administra información cartográfica turística en sus diferentes catálogos, sitios de interés turístico, registro de empresas turísticas, servicios conexos entre otros, para ello se está consumiendo algunos servicios colaborativos de mapas como es el caso del sitio OpenStreetMap; el cual provee también información relacionada al tema, la cual no es responsabilidad ni autoría del INGUAT, por lo que nos reservamos los derechos del uso que le den a esta capa de información. De igual manera no se hace responsable por información provista por terceros.

Así mismo, agradeceríamos a los usuarios, la colaboración en informarnos si hubiese algún error u omisión de la cartografía turística, remitirla en la sección de comentarios que aparece en el inicio de este Geoporortal para proceder a evaluación y realizar las correcciones si fuese necesario.
